“It’s very peaceful and very clean I love the rooms”

“The room was unlocked when we arrived and there was someone’s sock on the floor. The walls are also very thin, we heard the couple sleeping next door coughing all night. The bathroom was also not cleaned.”

“This property is very, very tired. Franchise owner needs to do his PIP (property improvement plan) or Hyatt needs to remove this property. Web site pictures are from the property's grand opening - it doesn't look like this now. There are hints of how nice it once was, but those days are long gone with the least amount of money going to keep this property up and running. Water stains all over the lobby ceilings, worn carpet and furnishings and a parking lot from hell with cracks and……

“Stay here for our visit at MSU. The location was perfect for getting to MSU and sort of in the middle of town. We were able to explore Starkville easily and the staff was very helpful with advice and suggestions! Very clean and plenty of parking, couldn’t ask for more!”

“Pool was closed in June, no door worked with room keys. Their key making machine was broken. And no drain plug in the bathtub.”

Years and years of loving curation provide pure eye candy for visitors while lending a true element of grandmacore nostalgia, exhibiting decades of a life well lived in every available space!! The host, Burnette, is a lovely lady and greets you with the warmth of a grandmother, happy to welcome you in with a cup of hot tea! Breakfast was a scrumptious homemade quiche and cherries jubilee! We look forward to returning!! ”

“It was clean enough…Mattresses are awful! I didn’t sleep for two nights! Last day I noticed a mouse trap under the table where the waffles were made. I won’t choose to stay here again. However, the staff was pleasant.”

“The property is very aged. The room had furniture with stains and the bed was a box spring. The weather stripping on door was missing and allowed black flying gnats in the room. The floor in the room appeared to be fairly new. Would not recommend.”
