"This is a very charming place situated right in the center of “Darrowby”. The inn has a beautiful garden and the breakfast is tasty and well done. The innkeeper Lynn was the best example of hospitality we have ever had, coming to the rescue when our rental car had a flat tire in a remote area. She really embodies the reputation of how lovely the people are in the Yorkshire Dales, and took extra care to make sure our car troubles didn’t ruin the vacation."

"This is superb quirky hotel/pub to stay at. food very high end / good description is Michelin star without being nominated! Each room has a different different theme - all very quirky with ‘surprises’ to match theme. Everyone we spoke to were return visitors - this is THE place to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries. Higher end price bracket but worth it - they do have mid week offers.will definitely return"
