「We arrived at 8.15pm and were worried we were too late to eat, bu we received a very warm welcome from a lovely young lady with long blonde hair, who told us that despite our lateness, we could check in before eating. We decided to eat straight away. The food was delicious. I had ham and leek pie with buttery mash and cabbage and my husband had ham hock, egg and hash brown chips. Our room COX was above the bar.
