Gone to the Beach is located only five minutes walk from Reeds Bay with it's white sandy beach and crystal clear water. The property is located in a quiet secure community of 4 apartments on a ridge offering breath taking views of the West Coast and Caribbean Sea. The apartment has two bedrooms one with queen sized bed the other has two single beds both with air conditioning and ceiling fans and large wardrobes. The lounge and kitchen are well equipped with wide screen TV, DVD player and wireless Broadband internet connection, there is also a Bose Bluetooth Connection Speaker. The kitchen has all modern amenities including microwave, dishwasher, blender, slow cooker, air fryer and washing machine. All windows have bug screens and are secure including the front door.

The covered Deck area will provide you with a plunge pool (sole use) dining area and sun loungers overlooking the landscape gardens, a perfect environment for relaxation and enjoyment.

A Government imposed Levy will need to be paid this is based on Bds$8.75 per night
for 2 persons, this will be collected by my Property Manager and a receipt given.

A beautiful apartment with wonderful views. Exceptionally well equipt. Very helpful and friendly host and owner. Couldn't fault it in any way. Preferable to have a car, but only 10/15 mins walk to beach and bus stops. It is on a hill so not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties to ealk. Spectacular sunsets!

Maria met us upon arrival and contacted us prior to arrange things, it was very convenient.The view is as good as the pictures make it out to be, and the patio is a lovely place to relax and cool off in the pool. We chose this apartment based upon the pictures of the comfy lounge furniture outside, and outside and in it did not disappoint. We have rented several apartments in several different countries , this apartment was the best outfitted in the kitchen we have ever seen. Everything you need to make a nice meal is available and then some. The location is very nice, if you just wanted to spend a week going to the beach there is a lovely one at the bottom of the hill with multiple beach bars to take care of you. If you want to explore, rent a car and you are in a great location to see it all. If you have a car recommend the Haymans market a 5-7 minute drive away. There is also a large variety of restaurants, from local street food to upscale dining within a very short distance. Overall we were very happy to have found this place, great value, and we will be back.

Love this place! Thank you Maria for all your recommendations. You made our stay all the more pleasant.Easy walk to the beach & the bus line though the last little bit back up the hill will get your heart pumping. Thunder Bay for beach chair and bar, Simone's eats right at the bottom of the hill will keep you in good spirits all week. The locals are friendly and helpful. Jordan's grocery in Speightstown has everything you'll need and it's a short bus ride. This place has everything we needed for a restful vacation.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour début décembre dans ce petit paradis où nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. C’est un endroit idéal pour relaxer avec une vue incroyable et nous avons même aperçues des singes dans les arbres depuis notre superbe térasse où nous adorions passer du temps. Le logement est propre, bien équipé et les lits confortables. La plage Mullin a moins d’une dizaine de minute de marche est magnifique. On trouve également de chouettes restos et commerces à distance de marche. La sympathique Maria notre hôte était plus que parfaite, très disponible, répondant toujours très rapidement à nos messages, toujours prête à aider et partager de bons conseils pour bien profiter du séjour. Pour un prochain voyage à la Barbade, nous reviendrons sans hésitation dans ce lieu enchanteur.

The apartment was just the perfect size for my daughter and me. There is air conditioning in all rooms which was a plus. The outdoor space is amazing and we spent a lot of time in the plunge pool. Maria was communicative and responsive to all questions and requests. I would stay here again.

A lovely Stay in BarbadosWe had a wonderful stay at Pat’s place. Maria, the House Manager is a great communicator. She reached out before arrival with helpful information and then on day of arrival meet us with the keys and a walk through. Maria was always available if we needed anything or had any questions during our stay. The property was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. There was plenty of hot water and the Air Conditioners worked well. We also enjoyed having the plunge pool on the covered patio overlooking the west coast. Upon check out Maria Meet us again to retrieve the keys. I highly recommended this apartment when visiting Barbados.

This was one of the best places I've stayed since i began travelling. It's private even with the plunge pool, clean and safe. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and more! And all items are of very good quality. There are several item for taking care of the kids as well. From coolers and beach towels for tou use on the beaches, to movies, books and games for when you're back. The kitchen has ALL the utensils you can imagine for any dish and there's also a BBQ grill for ypur meats. The appartment is spacious and located close to several beaches, such as mullins beach which is 4 minutes away. It's also close to hayman's market, which is a must-go. The host, Maria, is a wonderful host who gives you all the information you need to move around easily to all the best activities on the island. If I ever return to Barbados I'll definitely be staying here again.

Stunning property. Felt like a home and not a rental property. Location was perfect for us as we love the local thunder bay beach and with the car, it sits in the centre of our special towns of holetown and speightstown . Already booked for next Christmas

Fabulous stay

We had a fantastic 9 days in this gorgeous well equipped apartment in St James. Anything you could possibly need is available and the location is perfect. Hiring a car is essential and the brilliant Maria is always on hand to help and advise. Kimberly does a great job of keeping the place looking perfect and is such a lovely lady. We will certainly return here and would highly recommend.

Excellent Location - Lovely Property

This property is exactly as shown and described. We spent 3 weeks here and it was very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The terrace is a great place and we spent most of time there when we weren’t out. The check-in process was a breeze and thereafter property manager, Maria, reached out to ensure there were no issues or questions and made recommendations for live music venues. Kimberly, the housekeeper, was a delight and did an excellent job on her twice weekly cleanings. The landscape staff were very respectful of our quiet and told us when and how long they would be running a trimmer. The location is great for excellent restaurants, beaches and even trips to the south and east coast. Would highly recommend a car rental. We would rent this property again without hesitation.

What a gem of a place

This precious little getaway is tucked away in a village that creates a most relaxing atmosphere. The view is picture perrrrrfect, a coconut tree up front and the ocean in the background, completely private from all angles. The manager Marie is a phenomenal and scrupulous host, down to every little detail about cuisine, beaches, transportation, and she is incredibly responsive! By the way, if interested in having a private chef deliver personally-tailored meals to you then ask about Kate's Corner catering service, her food was so good and allergy-aligned it made us wanna cry in happiness!

15min walk from the beach means you have an amazing view from the property! Great property. No complaints whatsoever. Close to the beach . Property was clean and fully air conditioned with cable tv ,not that we watched any . Maria was there to meet us and very helpful. Would have no hesitation to recommend this property.
