Depoe Bay Whale Watching Center Hotels

"Would recommend."

"The manager/owner was very responsive when I asked for a clean bedspread, as the one in our current room had pet hair all over it. I asked for a clean bedspread and he graciously moved us to a new room that was also an upgrade at no additional charge. Once moved, we found the bathroom floor around the tub and toilet very dirty/moldy, toilet not very clean, plunger had toilet paper from last use, no Kleenexes, broken shower surround, anti-slip mat in tub moldy, barely useable/leaking faucet and shower head. Wall by so k ant toilet had substances on the walls not cleaned after last occupant. Bedside tables had not been cleaned. Both had food/drink residue. Lamps had not been wiped down for some time. Not bad for $70. ☹️"

"The best thing about staying here is the short walk to Depoe Bay. Good view. Good parking. Fireplace didn't work. Exterior hotel lighting interferes with the room. Power outlet didn't work. Still happy."

"We had a great time and can’t beat the location! Gave 3 star on beachfront question because it is oceanfront not beachfront but amazing view so not sure how to rate that one. Easy access (just 4 steps up to front door) even my 14 year old Shih Tzu could manage and seemed very comfortable. Very well equipped lacked nothing! Great communication with host. Will definitely be back!!!!"

"Very comfortable and the location is very close to all the local stores. I recommend BigFoot coffee and donuts across the street. It is literally in front of the cabin and they are open early. Also, across the street is the very nice ocean views. The only thing I would suggest is if you have a big truck or van do not park at the parking area. It is very tight. You will have to find parking at the street."

"It would have been nice to have a table (coffee table) in the living room to set drinks on. Also games to play when the weather doesn’t allow outdoor activities. "

"We loved every part of our stay. The view was amazing. They have the coolest mirror sitting above the fireplace where you can see the ocean reflecting through the window, even when watching TV. The hot tub was very relaxing, beds comfy, home clean. It’s walkable to shopping and restaurants. This was our first trip to Depoe Bay, and although we didn’t see any whales due to the weather, we had a great time. The owners were very responsive and went above and beyond for our trip. Highly recommend. "
