“Excellent experience from start to finish. ”

“The best in everything.”

“A good value property and comfortable with all we needed for a short stay. We appreciated the items left for making breakfast and good communication/information from the owner. We found it ideal for visiting Oxford with just a short drive to Park and Ride.”

“In spite of several demands and messages to the owner, I did not receive any indication on how to enter the flat until after I had booked a last-minute bedroom in a proper hotel. The owner blamed it on the email platform that (apparently) did not transmit the info. That may well be the case, but in any event, he did not take any notice of the messages asking for info until 5 hours after the theoretical check-in time.”

“Very clean and quiet, there is a bus into town or you can walk along the Thames (part of the way). Easy parking is a bonus. The only confusion was that on Vrbo the property had an address with a house number 19 rather than 19a - hopefully that can be changed for future customers ”

“Thank you”

“The location is great, being a shortish walk into the city with plenty of bus options. The layout of the flat is good for the price but I had some issues with comms with owner - no 'welcome' explaining parking, when access details would be passed on so I had to chase that the day before. Access is easy and great not to worry about keys. In the flat the tower fan didn't work - luckily we were past the 32 degrees plus heat but it was still high 20's. Also limited crockery/glasses, no baking tray……

“Excellent base for a visit to Oxford, with the city centre a pleasant half-hour walk across parks to get there. A quiet residential street with some local shops and public transport nearby. Flat was spotless and well furnished with parking out the back. Plenty of space in the kitchen/lounge and a well-equipped kitchen. Host answered any questions quickly and helpfully and no issues with access on arrival. The balcony was an added bonus for coffee in the morning or sitting out in the evening.”

“It’s an apartment for short term rent which was not clearly described to me. It’s not a full service hotel. The location is good. The biggest problem is the noise from the street. Very loud car and truck all night long. No sound insulation at all.”

“Cart Shed 1 was a super place to stay. Lovely high standard accommodation very confortable beds and living area seating, well equipped kitchen and the luxury of 2 bathrooms. Emily was very quick to respond to messages and gave clear instructions for directions etc. Couldn't have been better for a trip down memory lane for 2 ex students of Culham teacher training college, one of whom stayed at Nuneham Courtney house.”

“Clean place, lovely outdoor space. Nothing much supplied besides some tea and coffee eg no slat and pepper or oil. A few things were not working or broken eg bathroom light, toilet seat, no plug for the bath.”

“It is good to have an open kitchen in the room for preparing simple meals. The environment is quiet and comfortable.”

“Parking was good but property is far from the city centre. Definitely need a car if you are staying here.”

“Flat was beautiful, clean, and well-located. Evie was a lovely hostess. Thank you!”

“House was nice. Host was friendly.”

“Overall, it was a good experience. The room had some stains on the carpet that should be cleaned, and one of the windows had a large crack that needs to be repaired. There is no air conditioning, so during the summer you need to open a window to cool the room enough to sleep. The problem is that the property is on a busy street with a lot of traffic noise, so I found myself choosing between being too hot or dealing with the noise while trying to sleep. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff……
