This fantastic condo sits directly above the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Hotel with the new Blackcomb Gondola right at your door providing direct access to the Blackcomb high alpine and the Peak to Peak Gondola over to Whistler Mountain! This charming, beautifully appointed condo is the ideal, special getaway for 2 people, but it can accommodate up to 4. It features a king-size bed, a new feather-topped sofa, a gas fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a flatscreen tv & free internet. The Aspens offers a free valet service for your skis or boards, a year-round heated pool, 3 hot tubs and a fitness room. You have wonderful mountain views and can watch the skiers go by as you sit on the couch or from our private patio. Peter’s place is ideally located on the quieter Blackcomb base and it’s only a ten minute walk to the Whistler base. The label is correct, it’s definitely ski in/ski out and you get to start your day with a short ski down to the gondo. We got in pretty late and had a little hiccup finding the access directions but Peter was still able to assist us in the late evening. Would absolutely stay again.

The apartment was just as advertised, very comfortable, clean and perfectly located as a ski in/ski out location. Peter was very responsive to dealing with a minor issue, so we couldn't have wished for more.

Great host. Unit very clean and stocked. The views from the condo are great, super easy ski-in/out. Stairwell to pools/hot tubs across from the unit, as well as basement parking...very convenient. Underground parking is great. Note that the washer/dryer is not in the unit, rather a community laundry room.

We really enjoyed having a full kitchen—hot water kettle, dishwasher and pods, plenty of coffee cups and filters and ground coffee, dish towels. We also appreciated having plenty of bathroom supplies—towels, washcloths, tissue, soap, shampoo. Access to the parking garage is very close.

Literally ski right to the back porch. Great location. Short walk to the village vs properties further up the hill where the walk down the slope can be cumbersome.

Blackcomb Lodging

After a rocky start, Peter was on top of making sure everything was taken care of. Once we got in to the room and settled in, we were very pleased with the accommodations. If you're a skier, this is a perfect location. It is truly a ski-in/ski-out. It's also an easy walk to Blackcomb village and Whistler village.

Boy, did we luck out!

Even better than we expected. Just perfect for two and the location is right on a run only a couple minutes ski to the gondola. Just as easy to come home to at the end of the day. Compact, efficient galley kitchen with a good dishwasher. Aspens is very comfortable and couldn’t be more convenient for ski rental and valet. Hope to return.

Location. Location! Location?

First off the place was great. Clean, well appointed, comfortable, and was a super easy experience booking with Peter. The Aspens is a great complex and is my preferred location within Whistler. The Aspens has everything you need for a comfortable visit, pools for the kids, multiple jacuzzis, great location right above Blackcomb Village, easy to get to by walk, bike or car. Love it. The condo itself was also fantastic, but the location...... Im not sure.... Its on the corner of the building right on the mountain, so the Good parts are: You get really nice views from the living room, and can look right out to the mountain, gondola, village, etc. Where the unit is located is SUPER easy to access from both the parking garage, and and in out to the pool or out to the trails. This is waaay convenient, especially if you are lugging stuff in and out. Its super easy to access. The Bad parts are: Because you are right on the mountain, you have people walking up and down the path to the village ALL day & night. They are basically 10 meters away. Soooo - its not private, and its loud - ALL day & night. Dont get me wrong, I would stay there agin, BUT if you are looking for private and quiet, this is good to know.

The condo looks out on the ski run and is at the end of the hall - giving it a nice view and making it quieter (no noise from people walking in ski boots in the hallway). The location just above the main Blackcomb gondola is ideal.
