Do better if you can

They say a first impression can be your last and our first impression made it very hard to feel at ease in this unit. It looked like a construction zone. Dust was everywhere. They did have a cleaning person come in the next day and also provided air purifiers on request but still... my mom and I got daily headaches and nightly coughing fits. We are convinced in addition to the dust everywhere, there may be mold. We ended up extending our trip for a month. The unit was available but we booked elsewhere. The host tried to be accommodating but really and truly, that apartment was not ready. She should have offered to refund me for the first night or pay for me to stay another night in the hotel I checked out of. No one should have had to endure that. There was massive construction happening just outside, we were not informed. The people in the neighbourhood were super friendly. The space was decent but clustered. Overall, I was most definitely not happy with this stay and would not stay again unless a full renovation was done. We wish the host all the best.

Feels like home

The apartment is very clean and well equipped for long term stays. The location may give the wrong impression at first but after staying here for 30 days we saw no issues with the neighborhood , food , Landry etc. are all within reasonable range. The apartment complex is clean and maintained over all the stay was good value for money.

Amazing stay

We were a party of 4 adults and we had plenty of room! Annette was an amazing host and made sure we were taken care of and everything was to our liking. It’s very quiet and very comfortable! Thank you Miss Annette for everything!

This is a very nice apartment. The beds were very comfortable with very nice linens. We had difficulty finding the lock box. It was hanging on a fence and I was told there would be 3 and ours was the third one. There was only one so I just didn’t get that that was what I should be looking for. I also did not realize that this was a third floor walk up. There are a lot of steps making coming in with suitcases difficult. Finding a parking place after 8:00 PM is extremely difficult.

Cozy, Comfortable, We'll Be Back!

Spent the long weekend visiting family and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The condo is comfortable with enough room for the kids to hang out, watch tv, and play. The amenities provided by Annette (snacks, water, coffee/tea, board games, etc.) were a nice touch that made us feel right at home. The beds were super comfortable; my only recommendation would be the addition of blackout curtain or shades in the smaller bedroom. I would highly recommend staying at Annette's. She was attentive, responsive, and overall a superb host. We'll be back again!

Very cozy!

Very cozy apartment and not far from NYC. Beds were comfortable. My children (15,12, 9) enjoyed the TV's and board games. They were so comfortable there that I had to drag them out to see the sites! Would stay again.

Very clean apartment with some maintenance needs

The building and neighborhood might give some pause but we found the overall experience to work very well for us. The manager obviously takes care to try to accommodate guests with amenities, etc. The property manager was excellent and available. Parking is a challenge. There is only street parking and if you come in the evening you are taking a chance if you want to park close. I even received a $65 ticket for parking too close to a stop sign. There were not a lot of close amenities such as restaurants, stores, etc, but if you need a clean, roomy place to stay in the area you are visiting then this will certainly fulfill.

Ok but needs maintenance.

The owner really tries to meet all your needs. This apartment needs maintenance. It needs more TLC than the pictures appear. It’s in a little pocket of Yonkers that’s very, very poor. At 3;:00am 10-15 kids( 8-10 years) are playing tag in the street outside the window.
