"Check in was easy. Young gentleman was very kind (can’t recall his name). Great location to walk to many places. Gorgeous outdoor views. Indoor pool was ok kept us cool. Outdoor patio would be nice if there were cushions on lounges and if music continued out on the deck. Restaurant for breakfast was great and not a bad price. Day of check in our room had debris on the floor and under the bed. Won’t mention what was found on floor, but unacceptable. Didn’t get to talk to manager but front desk decided to waive the daily destination fee (which I wasn’t aware of). Wish front desk mentioned complimentary coffee to us in the lobby. Spent $7-8 a day for a morning coffee. Also the $35 per day parking! Otherwise enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack Chairs facing the Bay and all the gorgeous yachts. If I stayed again maybe would pick a room with a view. Definitely would recommend it based on views and location."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was beautiful, spacious, exceptionally comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. The backyard oasis and heated saltwater pool were a huge highlight and made it just as enjoyable to spend time at the house as it was to explore the area.The location was also perfect for us. We were just a short drive from downtown Newport, the beaches, restaurants, and everything else we wanted to do, while still having a quiet and private place to come back to at the end of the day.The owners were wonderful to work with. They were extremely organized and detail-oriented, provided clear information about everything we needed for our stay, and were always very responsive with excellent communication. It was obvious that they put a great deal of thought into making sure their guests have a great experience.The house was impeccably clean, very well equipped, and exactly as described. We had a wonderful stay and only wished we could have stayed longer. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Newport area!"

"The Pell Hotel is a great option if you are looking for a modern, more affordable accommodation while visiting Newport. Be prepared to pay $20 one way per Uber ride to/from Newport. Despite what you may read, the bus is inconvenient and unreliable. Staff was friendly and room was clean. My one complaint about the room is that you could only open the closet door about 1/3 of the way before it was stuck against the floor. Loved the convenience of having an on-site restaurant and bar. Beverages and food were delicious! We did not utilize the pool area but it looked very nice and several other guests seemed to enjoy it. Of note, there is no elevator. Thankfully we were on the second floor but I would keep this in mind prior to booking. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend The Pell Hotel."

"The house is beautifully laid out. Bedrooms are perfect! Great house for families. We only had our adult children there but if you have kids one of the bedrooms has an attached smaller room with twin bed and trundle Open living was so nice as our son, who was getting married had all his groomsmen there to hang out and get ready The house was perfectly cool as it was a little toasty outside. Highly recommend"

"We had a wonderful stay in this pretty home. Everything we needed was provided, including beach towels, and was easy to find. The kitchen was user friendly and had all of the tools necessary to have most meals at home, instead of at restaurants. We would happily return for another stay."
