“This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others.”

“No bed tables nor lights. There is nothing to put phone around a bed. They think that is normal.”

“The hotel manager Trish was our angel, we will definitely come back and make this one of the places we stay annually because of her! She was super accommodating and understanding of our small but hectic family needs. Whenever we needed anything, she was there to help. My 5yr old warmed up to her immediately and that’s saying a lot! About the property. This is obviously an old hotel that has been remodeled and it shows signs of its age but you get what you pay for and affordable accommodations……

“At first glance we were impressed by the room but that changed the more time we spent in the room. The room hadn’t been really dusted or vacuumed in a while. The vents were coated in heavy layers of dust as well. The mirror in the bathroom was dirty, the two TVs had no remote controls and the creamer in the coffee station were spoiled since they expired 6 months ago.”
