We just needed it for a one night stay. Wish the drive there was smoother but knew what we were getting into. Only recommendation would be updating accommodations from sleeps 4 to sleeps 3 as there’s only one queen bed and a twin bed. Host was great about communicating and allowing us to check in a little early

My main goal was to watch the stars and look through my telescope little did i know i would get to see a very prominent moon while sitting on the deck and it was awh inspiring its a beautiful spot to stay , it was peaceful and organic with an updated cabin which was awesome nice bed and a kitchenette cabinet with almost all utensils , big sink in the bathroom brand new toilet and walk in shower .

We didn’t stay on the property. We are both in late 70’s . We did not know till the reservation was made this is a dirt road. It had rained a lot the day before. We were afraid if something happened to us no one would be able to get to us. I had no cell service. You can’t park I front of property. It was too far to take our stuff.

Nice & clean but.....

We rented both cabins for a day trip to Lake Whitney. We pulled a 32ft long pontoon boat so the parking wasn't the easiest to get into. If others were staying in the other rentable places idk what we would have done. The cabins were super cute/ clean/ and as listed. My only complaint is the fact we can for the day and could not check in until 4pm. That is just ridiculous to me. We were on the water and unable to take our stuff before we went until we were completely done at the lake due to the timing. That is Less than 24 hrs in the cabin when check out is 11am. AND you have to pay extra to even ck in an hour early... thats insane!

Built for togetherness

Lil Luv Shack definitely offers the opportunity to unplug away from the hustle of daily life. The elevated queen bed the focal point and is super comfy once in it. This beautiful, rustic decorated interior boasts modern touches with the Roku tv and kitchenette. The refrigerator is only big enough to keep a few drinks cool and a tiny freezer for pint size ice cream…just not for meal planning. While there is no cooking source inside other than the microwave the outdoor shared grill area is great. We definitely saw our fair share of wildlife too while sitting on the porch watching the sunset. We booked this stay to enjoy our boat on Lake Whitney. The unpaved portion of road to cabin was very narrow (no pontoons recommended) and bumpy. We had some difficulty getting our trailer turned around with other vehicles in circle parking area. You will be required to carry your luggage down pebble path as there is no immediate parking near your cabin. If you just want to get away (no boat) this place is perfect.

Awesome getaway! Very nice, clean!

This place was awesome, I have a small family and it was prefect for our needs for our Hillsboro softball tournament weekend. Thank you Tommie for waiting for us to get there even tho we ran a little behind schedule. Very clean and perfect! I recommended for sure !
