Relaxing near Whitstable center

Very nice stay in a clean house. All necessary appliances available in a very large and well equipped kitchen and even more (dishwasher tablets, laundry tabs, coffee cups etc.) very nice surprise. Quiet at night so no surrounding noises so you are ready to start your day. Only 10mins to the Harbour and even less to the station. 👍

Christmas in Whitstable

Great house very clean and comfortable. My only criticism would be of the sofa. It was very uncomfortable. Change this and everything would be perfect!

This house worked so well for our trip to visit family. Plenty of space for our family of 5. We felt so comfortable here. The location is great, especially if you don't have a car - close to the train station, a bus stop and the Co-Op. The harbor isn't far and you can walk to some great restaurants. We felt at home on our extended trip. Would definitely look to book this home first if/when we get to go back.

Whitstable in the sun shine

We travelled to Whitstable for our wedding anniversary, just a couple of days away at the coast with the dog, the weather was amazing and the town really quaint and full of quirky shops, we visited the Lobster Shack on the quay for some lunch, was quite expensive, but a lovely location. The house was very comfortable, light and cool with lots of fans and the beds were super comfortable (probably the cleanest and freshest bed sheets and towels of anywhere we have ever stayed!) all in all an enjoyable stay in a lovely part of England.

Lovely house which are granddaughter loved for the play equipment in the garden. Walking distance to Whitstable Town, Beech and train station. Check in was easy as the key was in a lock box. Kitchen more than adequate - dishwasher, washing machine, oven and microwave. Good communication with owner helped the whole holiday go well.

Whitstable is een heel leuk stadje. Het heeft een gezellig centrum met veel leuke en kleurrijke winkeltjes. Ook is het een prima uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. Het huis zelf heeft een fijne grote tuin, een speelschuurtje voor de kinderen, prima slaapkamers en een ruime keuken. De leefruimte beneden/de woonkamer is wel echt klein. Wij hadden gelukkig mooi weer maar als je veel binnen bent is dat voor het aantal personen aan de krappe kant. Ook vonden wij het toch echt een nadeel (maar dit wisten we vantevoren) dat er alleen boven een wc was, in de badkamer.Het huis is op een aantal punten wel echt aan opknappen toe. Her en der bladdert de verf van de muur, de eettafel is klein en wiebelig en vastgeplakt met tape. De stoelen en bankjes bij de tafel zijn oncomfortabel. De barbecue was echt heel vies en moesten we uitgebreid schrobben voor we ‘m konden gebruiken. Van de enige grote koekenpan was de bodem helemaal gedeukt en de luxaflex in één van de slaapkamers werkte niet. Ook kon het licht in de badkamer alleen samen met de ventilatie aan die nog een tijd door bleef loeien dus moest ‘s avonds/‘s nachts alles op de tast. We hadden ook iets meer communicatie/instructie kunnen gebruiken bv over de tuinvrouw die onaangekondigd voor de deur stond en ook de tuin ging doen waar wij lekker buiten zaten en over de bv code op de poort die we nu niet konden gebruiken.Kortom we hebben een fijne vakantie gehad in Whitstable maar het huis viel qua comfort wat tegen.
