To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests, please observe the following house rules during your stay:
1. Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is available from 2:00 PM unless otherwise arranged.
Check-out is strictly 10:00 AM to allow adequate time for housekeeping.
Late check-outs are subject to availability and must be approved in advance.
2. Occupancy
The property accommodates a maximum of 5 guests (including children).
Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight.
3. Noise & Respect for Neighbours
Hibiscus Lodge is a quiet residential complex. Please keep noise to a minimum at all times, particularly between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Parties, large gatherings, and events are not permitted.
4. Smoking & Vaping
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the apartment and on the balcony.
A cleaning and deodorising fee will apply if evidence of smoking is detected.
5. Buggy Use
The provided golf buggy must be operated only by licensed drivers over 21 years of age.
Seatbelts must be worn, and Queensland road rules apply at all times.
Please charge the buggy overnight and return it in the same condition it was provided.
Any damage, misuse, or loss of keys will incur repair or replacement fees.
6. Care of the Property
Please treat the property with respect and leave it in a tidy condition.
Report any accidental damage immediately.
Costs may apply for excessive cleaning, breakages, or missing items.
7. Pool & Common Areas
The pool and shared facilities are for the enjoyment of residents and guests only.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Glass is not permitted in or around the pool area.
8. BBQ & Cooking
Please clean the BBQ after use to avoid additional cleaning charges.
Ensure cooking appliances are switched off before leaving the property.
9. Rubbish & Recycling
Please dispose of general waste and recycling in the complex bins provided.
Avoid leaving food items uncovered, as they may attract wildlife.
10. Wildlife & Balcony Safety
Do not feed wildlife such as cockatoos, curlews, or possums.
Keep balcony doors closed when unattended to prevent animals entering the property.
11. No Pets
As per Hamilton Island policy, pets are not permitted in holiday rentals.
12. Safety & Security
Always lock doors and windows when leaving the property.
