Staff was cordial. Room a bit out dated, lavatory light connected to light over the sink, both on the same switch. When you needed the light for the lavatory during the middle of the night you could awaken others in the room. Greeted by a cockroach on one pillow when returned from supper. No second morning coffee supplies were left when towels were removed and not replaced til much later in th day.

Quiet off street parking,lots of neighborhood kitties to play with, comfortable chair in room no threat of wolverine attacks nearby, building had a roof Incase of rain,store across street open sold ice cream,and COLD BEER front desk stocked with plenty 5s and singles to facilitate a floating after hours craps game,plenty of clean towels for scorching Texas heat, zeppelin rides to airport upon request and 2 stair cases stratiglly placed apart Incase the US MARSHALL is closing in

Great little hotel

We stayed at this hotel as it was next to the hospital my wife’s mother was in. It is a short walk from the hospital and was perfect. It is clean, recently remodeled, well lite, and comfortable. I recommend staying here especially if you need a place next to the hospital

Staff was really friendly. The surrounding area was quiet. The room was fine. The room was pretty large. Needs a little updating. It had all wood flooring which was great. The room was clean. We only stayed over night so we did not use the shower.We would stay here again.

The desk staff was very welcoming and helpful with our check-in. However, there was a roach crawling on the wall when we entered the room. Additionally, the towels were not very clean and housekeeping knocked on our door shortly after 8 AM which seems a little early from my past stays at other propertys.

We had to ask for towels and was only given 1/2 a roll of toilet paper. Towels were stained and discolored. Only half the lights in the room worked. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean.

Great clean space no smoking allowed

If you do any kind of smoking here stay away there are signs everywhere telling people not to smoke anywhere around the building. That being said it's not a bad place to stay it was clean! I thoroughly checked for bedbugs and found none. They offered DIRECTV which was nice. The bathroom air vent didn't work.

Clean, friendly, but very rundown.

Everyone that worked at the hotel was very friendly. Our room was clean and the beds are comfortable. It’s cheap, so I knew it would be older and a little run down, however, something’s were a bit much. The door to our room was very difficult to close and luck, we had to slam our entire body against it. The ceiling in the bathroom was soggy and sagging, made me wonder if it will eventually fall in. The AC didn’t work great, the room was tolerable but a bit warm. In the end, it’s cheap, so I know I can’t be too picky. The staff was so kind, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

This is the second time I'm in this place first time was very good no problem ( room 213 second floor) second night I was there they give me room 117 that room was cockroaches and the bed sheet was dirty they never change it, I was so tired I didn't realize or I didn't see that dirty bed night time. It was a smell not horrible.That is the truth I just put it in here. I don't want to try third time. Thank you.

The hotel is old, but clean. It is convenient to downtown and the convention center. However, the Regional Hospital is nearby that has a heliport, and during the night, I endured the noise of four flights, both coming and going.
