Perfect getaway

My husband and I stayed for the weekend for our anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, smelled great, and looked well kept up. Although we didn’t use them, it seemed to have everything you already need to cook as well (pots, silverware, utensils, etc). I can’t speak for the club amenities since we didn’t use them but the registration staff were wonderful. My only regret is not staying here longer!

Underwhelming experience

I feel as though the pictures online didn't give a true representation of the current condition of the resort. Our room was clean but had paint chipping/bubbling in the corners of the bathroom, the plate behind the knob on the shower wall was falling off, and the room had a funny odor. On top of the room, the putt putt course was extremely run down. I would think that an amenity that isn't included (we had to pay extra to play) would've been in much better condition. They also had 3 of the 4 bowling lanes that weren't working while we were there. They said maintenance had been called, but still didn't help the situation. The staff also didn't do a very good job of explaining everything. We were handed papers when we checked in and I guess it was assumed we would read it all over, instead of being given a quick synopsis. We even had to call to find out the check out procedures as it wasn't listed anywhere. Again, everything was clean in our room and it wasn't an awful experience but I just didn't feel the place was kept up for the price you pay.
