Great environment
Pros: The “tents” were very nice. The beds were comfortable. The refrigerator and freezer work really well. The bathrooms were very nice, much better than I was picturing. We felt very safe. It was a very great location for the ark-like 5 minutes away.
The best thing about this place was the environment. My daughters made so many friends and everyone was so kind. Most of the families we met were heading to the ark/creation museum. All of the kids just played together.
There is also a helicopter that is based right here and it can be a pro or a con. We thought it was really cool watching it take off and really enjoyed it. It can be really loud and scary as it did scare one of our girls in the middle of the night.
They did provide a white noise machine as you can hear trains also, but they are not too loud. We did not use the machine and slept fine.
Con: My only complaint or negative comment is about how parking and everything is set up. The tents are not super close to the bathrooms and you cannot park your car down near the tent. I have plantars fasciitis and walking a lot of unleveled ground makes it flare up. Also it is not convenient to have to walk a kid up to the bathroom at 2 in the morning. It would be much better if every tent had a spot for 1 vehicle.
Although I did not like the parking situation immediately, I really enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend.
