Perfect for a family getaway!

We enjoyed a lovely family getaway here. We had 8 adults and 2 little ones and the entire house was very accommodating and spacious. The fire pit and the hot tub were a big hit with everyone and we had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend.

Weekend Family Getaway

Home was in a great location. Everything was top-notch. It was so close to Whiteface Mountain plus Lake Placid and the Olympian center. The home was Perfection.It was a perfect getaway. We will Definitely be back.

Perfect Peaceful vacation setting

This property was beautiful. It was spacious, clean and suited our family perfectly. We traveled with my parents and my 2 teens girls and our dog and it was great for all. The hot tub, back deck and large fire pit area were among our favorite places to relax at the property. It is centrally located and easy to find. I highly recommend this property for an Adirondack get away.

Beautiful home and scenery .

Second year here for sisters' getaway. We love it! Well laid out for family dinners, but very private sleeping areas. Close to excellent restaurants, hiking or relax on the deck or at the firepit. Don't be afraid to book this house. You won't be disappointed !

Spectacular! Do it!

Nothing more than spectacular! I have been to many vacation rentals in my life. This is by far, one of the best I have stayed at. Not just because the property and the rental were better than expected, but because you can see how the property builders thought about the property set up before building it, and to add, how easy and comfortable they made it prior, during and after the reservation. (Thank you Judi). If this is open for your dates, stop looking. This is one! Can't wait to book again in the winter!

Perfect Family Vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marble Mountain Chalet! The house layout was perfect for our 3 families. We really appreciated the two washer & dryer units! The location was close to all activities near by, and we liked how easy it was to find and access the property.

My stay was wonderful. The only small issue and i cant ever say it was an issue was we could not for the life of us figure out how to get netflix to work. The cabin in beautiful, and the host was easy to reach when we locked ourselves out lol. Great overall stay :)

Literally about 4 minutes to Whiteface, and that was nice when we got a lot of snow. Hot tub and sauna were as advertised, and great fun. Overall a good week. Management was very active and responsive. Thanks.

Perfect place for girls weekend

Easy from the get go! Promptly contacted by the rental company, great emails from the owner. All information was known well ahead of time. Kitchen had enough to cook some great meals! Very clean and bright!

Practically perfect

This place was wonderful! Plenty of room for the extended family, and close to some attractions as well as Lake Placid. The only thing we wished for was a larger grilling space for a house that holds so many people. Therr were 2 grills the size you normally see at parks and such and the grill master in our group hoped for a bit more space. And if you are traveling with small kiddos, just a heads up, no bathtub, just shower stalls - we survived lol

Nice

This is a beautiful home. All my friends were beyond impressed for the value you get. I live around Manhattan and you spend 350 on a boutique hotel for one night and that's a little room. You get 4 bedrooms, amenities and just awesomeness all-around. Stay here you won't regret it. I know I will be back. Just make sure to take care of the cleaning lady with a nice tip. She gave you a nice clean house to walk in, so reward her for that.

All I can Say Is WOW!

This home is by far the best rental home I have ever been at for the money, location, amenities & the overall beautiful design of the home is stunning. I called the owner this morning and told them that I am reserving the same week next year but I want to try one of there other 3 homes in the area so I asked them what they thought and they said they are all great just pick what you like and you wont be wrong. We drove by the other homes and they are right they are all fantastic. We couldnt get in they where all full but this owner is so easy tpo work with I wouldnt go any where else in the Adirondaks. The dry sauna was awsome last night and we are doing a huge outdoor fire tonight

Good experience. Owner and Care Taker very responsive to questions. Care Taker met us at arrival.

Beautiful interior, room to spare, spacious well equipped kitchen. Convenient location, 20 minutes to Lake Placid and 5 minutes to White Face mountain. Only 4 stares contingent upon lack of essential supplies. Toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, etc. It has been our experience with VRBO properties that these essentials were in sufficient supply to last a week. We were advised by owner, but forgot to stock our SUV because it was not on our regular checklist for VRBO weeks. It is my opinion that they should be supplied as essentials ala sheets, towels, dishwasher pods, etc. I am being a bit picky but we had to shop for them on our vacation which breaks the vacation theme.

Clean, well appointed, very poor cable tv

Clean and well appointed, only basic basic basic cable. Only 17 channels out of first 100 channels. Little to no channels over 100. For the cost of this chalet per night they should have more that 17 channels of cable - some of which were community meetings and such. As a result of the lack of cable, our children were a little bored in the evenings. When we got to the chalet the oven was broken and unusable. The Manager forgot to tell us the oven was broken, however, it was replaced the day after we checked in. Cost us a night dining out, with no offer of assistance from owner/manager of the chalet. Chalet is close to ski hill Manager is knowledgeable on the chalet and area, also responsive to questions.
