Relaxing Getaway

The house was really comfortable and had wonderful views. We sat out on the patio most of the time, and really enjoyed the serenity. We definitely want to book here again.

Rugged but comfortable retreat

Great house - loved the interior (very comfortable and well equipped) and the fantastic back patio from which you can watch the birds play in the trees each morning. Very clean, well laid out. Able to use the (mostly empty) garage for unloading and loading. Very low light pollution for star viewing at night. Easy to access off of main roads - no miles of lease road travel to dust up your car - and the right distance from town. Outdoor facilities have deteriorated a bit, but didn't inhibit cooking outside and making campfires just about every night. Would return!

Somewhat disappointing

The property is nice without a doubt! However, there were many little things that made the stay somewhat disappointing. We chose this place for the size and amenities for my Son’s wedding day. The lighting is awful, very yellow and not much of it. It made doing hair and makeup difficult at best. There were utensils that were “crusty” sitting in the container on the counter top. The Dish TV in the living room did not work. I tried to communicate with the property to resolve it. It never got resolved. The property management was relatively quick to communicate about early check in and check out though, so I will give them that. The outdoor grill was unclean and we were unable to get it to light. This was disappointing because this was one of the reasons we chose this property. There were other little nuances that were just odd, such as no internet and cell service is terrible depending on who your carrier is. There were no bath rugs provided, which is a slip hazard when stepping out of the shower. The placement of the water closet in the Master with respect to the outside door was just really strange! I love the Hill Country, the view and quiet were peaceful for sure! I would not, however, return to this property.

Loved the isolated ranch home

We had a great time! The kids loved the hot tub and there were plenty of things to do at the house. It was a great place to unwind for the holiday weekend.

Peaceful getaway

The home is nice and up to date. It’s about 10 minutes outside Wimberley, 20 minutes from Canyon lake and 25 from San Marcos! The house is secluded and quiet!

Amazing birthday weekend in the hill country

The property was even lovelier in real life than the online pictures! It was a beautiful house and very comfortable. We enjoyed playing games at the large dining table and watching the Astros win the World Series in the expansive living room.

Beautiful Ranch in the Texas Hill Country

We stayed for a family event and had a great time out on the property. There is plenty of room inside and outside! It is a short 15 min drive to Wimberly and a HEB grocery store for all your needs. The house is a great example of Hill Country living.

Gorgeous Desert Getaway

This was an amazing place to slow down, get away from the world, and catch up with great friends. We loved waking up in the morning and relaxing on the porch while birds swooped through the sky, enjoyed cooking meals in the well-appointed indoor and outdoor kitchen, and had an amazing view of the stars from the hot tub. And Wimberly and the surrounding areas were charming! Already planning a trip back.

A wonderful retreat

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a birthday getaway! We were blown away by the vast property and spacious accommodations. We had an issue with one of the toilets and the hot tub. Management came out the next day to tend to the issues. We would absolutely stay here again!

Like your own private resort

Like your own private resort! Our little family rented this property to celebrate our son‘s fifth birthday, and it was just a dream. Tons of space for our two boys to explore, the clubhouse was a fan favorite, and The hot tub was perfect during the chilly weather. The house itself was absolutely gorgeous, and gave us plenty of room to spread out. Our littlest is six months old, and she was able to have her own quiet room to nap since the boys were able to sleep in the bunk room. The toys in the bunk room were also a huge hit! Thank you so much for having us in your home, we will definitely be back.

Amazing Rural Getaway

First, let me say that the pictures really don't do this place proper justice. The property and house are both immense in size and quality. There is plenty to do on the property without leaving. My boys and I enjoyed fishing the pond, exploring the property, afternoons and evenings in the hot tub, grilling dinner while enjoying smores over an outdoor fire. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the home and also enjoyed birdwatching. Wimberly and Blanco are just a short drive away. Shopping and dining in Wimberly are a must do, as well as exploring Jacob's Well and Blue Hole.

Wonderful family vacation

We brought our 3 daughters and enjoyed the home, the wide porch, the nieghborhood, the land, outdoor fire pit and the views! I would agree with other reviewers that the house could use some minor updates. Little things like broken toilet paper holders, showerheads that need to be opened up and cleaned out, we had a leaky faucet- all minor. I would also mention that the master bath has windows onto the porch and a door with glass out to the side yard where the grill and fireplace are. There are no window coverings so be aware! There is no privacy there. Overall great family vacation spot!

A beautiful retreat

We enjoyed the serene atmosphere of this gorgeous home. The views were breathtaking and the pond is better in person than the pictures. My little girl even caught her first fish! We experienced all sorts of wildlife like hummingbirds, cardinals and butterflies. We even heard a turkey. My only complaints are that I am a light sleeper and you could hear the air conditioning unit make loud noises when cycling on and off all night. We also had to rewash several of the dishes that were put back in the cabinets dirty. The hot tub was warm but the bubbles wouldn't turn on. All the outdoor seating and fire pit was really nice and comfortable. You could tell they thought of all the details. I would definitely come back. I will just bring my noise machine next time!

Great house, but dirty

The property is great, but the cleanliness not so great. The masterbed did not have sheets on the bed, the bathrooms and kitchen counters were dirty, toothpaste left on the counter in the bathrooms. Dry spit on sheets in bunk room. Some of the toilet seats were up down so you did not know if they had been cleaned plus had hair and other dirt on them. Hall shower had mold, floors where really dirty as well as the rugs. The patio lights on the back porch and in the picnic areas did not work. I would most definitely say it was not cleaned completely and not Covid clean. I did take pictures and sent them to the property manager and all I was told is that "things are missed"

Nice remote location short distance from Wimberley Square

Comfortable home to relax and spend time with family. Does need a deep cleaning - lots of cobwebs on furniture and inside kitchen cabinets. Had to wash dishes and glasses before use.

A Hidden Gem

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this property. It's spacious and very quiet, which is just what we were looking for. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed the closed-in outdoor eating area and the Jacuzzi, but the porch and its fantastic views were the highlights -- lots of great birdwatching and beautiful sunsets. The only drawbacks were that a few bathroom areas needed to be cleaned, and the road up the hill to the property had huge hard-to-see holes (a call to the property management company about these issues was not returned). Overall, though, I would recommend this vacation home and hope to come back soon!

Lovely stay!

This property is beautiful. The home was quite comfortable and had all the amenities of home. Check in and out process was very easy, they were able to accommodate an early check in for us. We came and went as we pleased and had no issues. This place is very quiet and warming. We want to stay here again! I just would like to let the owners know; in case they are not aware of a few things. The hot water handle in sink in the spare bedroom was non-working and the sink did not drain well. I would also suggest replacing the shower head in the master shower, as it is in less than favorable condition. I know we've been in a drought and the landscaping is nice, but it could truly use a lot of attention all around the house. The gate or fence is also broken and just lying on the porch. Upgrade the bird feeders and clean out bird houses, it would be nice to see the birds around while sitting on the very nice back porch. The Club House (although we didn't have children) could truly use some updating as well. I love the property, just wanted to offer a few opinions. We will be staying again soon! Thank You!
