"The kitchen was equipped to prepare small meals, and the fireplace was great during the cool evening hours."

"This was a very peaceful and well positioned hotel. The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. The bathroom was clean and orderly although we would have preferred a walk-in shower and instead we had a tub. The breakfast was okay, but we liked the free snack packs provided which had a bottle of water, an apple or orange, a plain bagel, and peanut butter. It was very close to the Brattleboro Golf Club and convenient to Brattleboro main street with all its restaurants and shops. Overall, a great experience."

"Location is great. Lots of things within walking distance. Basement suite had no natural light and the worst LED light bulbs. Try to get a different room if possible. Parking was free but not very convenient. I'd stay there again but would ask about which room I was getting."

"The man at check-in was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. I am used to staying in more modern hotel chains and this place was unlike them except that there were indoor corridors here too. What was different was lack of lobby, poor exterior and entrance, overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke everywhere, and grungy bedspreads. Otherwise, this place was similar in that the sheets and rug and bathroom were clean. I’ve stayed in worse, I’ve stayed in better. I paid $90 here for a prime Saturday night so you can’t beat that. I’d stay again if I had to but I’d prefer not."
