Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights and it was amazing, the room was lovely and clean and the breakfast everyday was great. Ada looked after us and made our stay very relaxed and enjoyable. Perfect location, near 2 towns so lots of choices of restaurants, bars and walks! Would highly recommend :)

Amazing cooked to order breakfasts! Loads of choices.
Warm and friendly welcome from Rich and Ada. They gave great suggestions on places to visit.
Room was comfortable with everything you needed for a short break in a convenient location to explore that part of the Lake District. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance.
The free access to the local spa was a lovely bonus after all the walking!
Would highly recommend and would gladly visit again.

Lovely guest house, 10 minutes walk from Windermere and Bowness. Loads of lovely restaurants, cafes to choose from.
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and lots of excellent choices.
Rich and his team were very helpful.
Just be aware that offside health club is 2 miles away so tricky if you don't travel by car. Not a problem for us as we enjoyed the local walks and amenities.

Fab stay at St John’s lodge and will definitely look to return. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Ada was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast variety was fantastic and the quality of the food was very good too. Easy walk to either Windermere or Bowness too with lots of options for food and drink.
