「Expedia website stated all taxes and fees were included but I had to pay $40, ($10 parking and $30 resort fee) for 2 nights. We were only using the resort to sleep at so I would have chose somewhere else had I known about the additional fees when I booked it. They stated some booking sites include the fees and some don't and Expedia was one that doesn't even though the stated all taxes and fees were included. Also, could not get the room to cool down at night. Was mildly uncomfortable...

「Weird robot-like hotel with no staff on site when we arrived. Check-in was online, a bit confusing (even for the young people in our party), and cameras in common areas monitoring everyone felt dystopian. Rooms were tiny, but well-appointed. Strange stay.」

My reservation, which I booked through Expedia was in tact, but room was not ready, and was then told by same incompetent person that there was a "mix-up with the rooms" My travel partner, who requires a roll-in shower in an ADA-compliant room was told upon check-in that the only room with a roll-in shower was "out of order" in spite of having confirmed the specific room over the phone days earlier....

「What a dump! In fairness, they are "under renovation" with a new owner. The bed was good and the sheets clean, but that's about it. Among the negatives: 1. The property advertised breakfast (in Expedia's ad) but there is none. 2. The room was not secure. The door chain was hanging on a nail next to the door. All it needed was for someone to screw it in. I ended up securingh the door by jamming it with a folding chair. 3. I'm glad I did, because on my second day, someone pounded on the door...

「My favorite thing was the simplicity. The breakfast was simple and delicious as well. They are very nice people. Everything was clean. I didn't use the hot tub or pool, but plan to if I'm able to return in the fall. They also have a nice little playground area if you have kids.」
