Best Cabin Trip Thus Far!

We had an amazing stay - and Greg was absolutely phenomenal with communication - especially with providing information on plowing during a snow storm while we were there. The property was gorgeous and just a few minutes away from Wyndham Mountain. The property was very clean and huge for the great price. We were able to have a wellness retreat and the amenities were great!

Huge house close to Windham mountain.

This is a wonderful property for a multi family get away. There are a ton of bedrooms and the house is well stocked with needed amenities.Greg was great to deal with. He was very communicative with instructions for the house. We definitely would like to book this property again.

Family Reunion

This was the perfect place for my family to convene for the weekend. There was plenty of space to converge when we wanted and separate when we wanted. The house is well stocked with everything we needed and the area is absolutely gorgeous.

Great long weekend

We had 4 families stay here over Presidents Day weekend. The house was great. The living area on the main floor is big and flows into a large kitchen - the kids took over the game room downstairs and stayed in the bunk rooms.It is a short ride to Windham Mountain and easy to drop off/pick up people at the mountain. There was plenty of firewood and the house had pretty much everything you need. Would recommend to any large group - and hope to be back next year to do it again.

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had another fun stay at the Dancing Horse Farm! The house has been upgraded with a new stove and other amenities. Huge home, to house several large families. Very well maintained and clean. We also visited the near by town for coffee and a nice brisk walk. Overall great time and look forward to coming again!

Great house!!

We had an amazing weekend. Stayed with a few families with younger kids to ski at Windham. The owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Beautiful house and very clean. Would definitely love to go back!

A Big House has enough rooms and beds. Had mostly everything needed, and owner able to answer questions and solve problem in time. the backyard and forest would be better view in spring or summber.

A Fantastic Stay!

Dancing Horse Farm was the perfect spot for my best friend’s bachelor party! The house was clean and gave us all a great space to hang out and have fun together. Greg was an attentive and thorough host who made our stay as easy as it was wonderful. Also we very much enjoyed the hiking trails! Thank you again Greg for a great stay!

Team Retreat

My dance team rented out the place and it was a lot of fun. Plenty of room to relax and sleep. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of appliances and tools for us to cook and have breakfast and dinner. Definitely a great place to stay. Would come back

Fantastic from start to finish

The house was incredible and fit our whole party quite comfortably, high ceilings and a great common room made everyone feel included. This rental exceeded expectations and the owner was so friendly and had great communication. Can’t say enough about the property, can’t wait to go back

An Amazing Weekend Getaway!

Our group of nearly 25 adults and children had a fantastic time! There was plenty of space for our entire group. We especially loved the large gathering areas both upstairs and downstairs. The bunk rooms were perfect for our kids to sleep! The home had wonderful little touches that you don’t always see in a rental - custom Beekman bath products and signature mugs and wine glasses with the dancing horse logo! We will absolutely be returning to this gem! Communication with Greg was also wonderful! A quick ride to Windham and Hunter make this a dream for a family friendly ski vacation.

Perfect location for family gathering

Dancing Horse Farm was a perfect location for our family reunion. While we had 35 people from ages 1-91, the house was full but never crowded; everyone loved the house and location and we'd all love to go back! The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, there are several different areas to hang out and talk, the kitchen is incredibly well stocked, and the grounds are lovely. Communication with the owner was always prompt and helpful and Greg was very patient with my numerous questions before we arrived. We all highly recommend this property!

Ski Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at Greg’s property. The house is huge and easily accommodated the 25 guests we had. It is very conveniently located for those that like to take advantage of skiing between Hunter and Windham mountains. Greg was extremely responsive and very easy to work with anytime we had questions arise. I would definitely recommend to others and will most certainly keep this place in mind for future trips! Great house !!

We went with 3 families (kids 4-14) and had the best time !! Great house for a group. We were 18 total. Awesome location. The kids loved playing in the snow and visiting with the cows! The grounds were really beautiful. The house had plenty of room. The bunk rooms were awesome for kids. Upstairs master has a tiny room a one single bed off of it, perfect for a toddler or baby. Two living rooms for multiple sports game watching. Short drive to the mountain and restaurants. We even brought food fromHome and grilled steaks one night. We had an awesome time !!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!

This property and the owner has a 5 * rating, and our group confirms this!! It speaks for itself. Clean, spacious, excellent response time with Greg, he was very accommodating, we really felt welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed!!! We had beautiful white fluff, and Greg arranged for a snowplow to come to clear the driveway and road to get out. Great outdoor space for snowtubing. We'd love to go back!!

Perfect Mountain Weekend

Greg's house was the perfect place for our weekend celebration in Windham. We arrived in the middle of a heatwave and Greg gave us a day-of heads up on the a/c operation, and even suggestions about which parts of the lawn would be best for setting up a tent for a bbq. Everyone loved walking around the property and saying hi to the animals. Every spot in the house was comfortable, and there were places for the quiet and the sociable alike. Everyone kept asking how we found such a great spot, and some family are already making plans to rent the Dancing Horse for future gatherings. The provided guide was super helpful as well.

Fall Getaway

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and its owner, Greg. Communication from start to finish was seamless. We were a family of 14 adults and four children (6, 2, and 2 infants). The location is private, and the backdrop is nature at its finest. The stables were a big hit with the children, who would venture there several times each day to check on the horses and cows. The home layout is perfect for large groups as everyone has their own space without rooms being above anyone. We especially enjoyed the first floor with the pool table and other living room with a TV and a door to ensure the excitement of the sports from the guys did not disturb any sleeping babies upstairs. The decks are great for enjoying time outside for a bite or a cup of something to drink. There are numerous firepits on the property as well, which we made sure to enjoy. I would highly recommend visiting here if you are lucky enough.
