Great family home near Windsor

House is very nice, well equipped and spacious, with multiple bathrooms. Very good if you have an older guest staying with you who may need a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. It's off the beaten path but with easy access to Windsor, Maidenhead, M4, so a short drive into west London or to Heathrow. Good communication with property manager. Just note that the tumble dryer doesn't dry so you will need to hang-dry clothes that you wash. Also, main access to M4 is along a very windy country lane - not for the fainthearted if you are not used to driving on the other side of the road! But overall a great place to stay. Strongly recommended.

Convenient location

Our family stayed for a week, traveling into London and the surrounding area. The property is very spacious, beds are comfortable and we had a good visit, however, there were some inconveniences. We had to supply handsoaps, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent, kitchen sponge. The washing machine smelled strongly of mold. We could only find one hairdryer for a 5-bedroom house and no room had a convenient place to use it (had to sit on the floor in an upstairs bedroom because the only proper mirror near an outlet was on the floor, leaned against the wall.) No counter space (only a pedestal sink) in the upstairs bath which serves 4 people and no coffee table/end tables in the living room. We worked around these minor things but felt the property was overpriced because of them. While there, an upstairs shower leaked and was seen by the responsive property manager who cleared a drain leaving a funky smell for a couple of days but it did eventually clear. I think if some of these minor things are addressed, the property would be worth the price.

We booked this place for my husbands 70 th birthday! Ideal location for family to get to, just off the M4! Tom the host was outstanding, extremely helpful and very attentive, cannot fault him! The barn was fab. We hired a private chef for a celebratory family meal and he had no complaints with the kitchen, everything was provided that he needed. Great dining area, just what we needed for our celebration and of course the pool table and gaming chair were a complete hit with Everyone! A Great place to stay!!
