“Great Hotel ”

“Stayed here during a birthday/engagement trip. The location was surprisingly ideal, right between Bodega and Petaluma, and was pet friendly which was necessary for us. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and had a warm and homey vibe. My girlfriend at the time was pleasantly surprised and loved it. Staff was amazing the whole time, and very helpful. They really make the place. Enough so, when I proposed on the trip, we were both looking forward to telling Kendra at the front desk. We did……

“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. “We had a great time during Merry Meritage. The kids enjoyed I’ve skating right outside and the fire pit with snores. Service was great, but Olive and Hay seemed short staffed during breakfast. Food and service there was very good once we were seated and served. Would stay again.”

“The breakfast was fresh and the coffee was excellent. I had a marvelous view out my window of trees and a small view of the ocean. The room had a great fireplace and comfortable bed.”
