“The bar and bar tenders were wonderful! The staff was very friendly! The room was clean and large. The breakfast was ok but could have more fresh variety. ”

“Breakfast was limited and not replenished when items ran out. Not real fresh. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, cube-cut fried potatoes, no Meats, nice bananas, bread, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, juice, coffee. Get there early if you want enough! ”

“We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners……

“The Lazy River cabin was excellent! Clean, quiet, and charming, with an cozy wood stove and a great hot tub. Plenty of space to sleep, heated floors in the basement, well stocked with towels and linnens, the dishwasher worked very well as did any kitchen equipment we used. The only issues we had were extremely minor. As usual with "rentals," the knives were quite dull. There was a loud heat pump on the upper level (it faded into the background quickly, but it was much louder than the identical……

“Loved it! The only suggestions we have are to get a more comfortable couch and to put grippies on the stairs leading up to the bedroom (they were a little slippery while wearing socks). The whole place was very clean and well equipped. The scenery could not be beat! ”
