「The hotel is very well located and has a charm about it. However, it seems a bit rundown. The blow dryer in my room did not work. I asked for an additional one and it only worked intermittently. Desk staff was only marginal. Not particularly knowledgeable or friendly. I have stayed at Santa Fe Inn and Motel (which is just north of Hotel Santa Fe) and it is really a better place to stay. It was unavailable for this stay so that is why I stayed at Hotel Santa Fe. Price was reasonable.」

「The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Our room was closer to the main street and the very noisy. A room at the far end of the property may have been quieter. The breakfast burrito was a very good option before getting back on the road.」

「The property is old and worn. The first floor was being painted so hopefully the property is being updated. The front of the AC was broken, as if someone had fallen on it. The lamp shade was torn, the towels were rough, one coverlet was torn and mended. The property was nice and private...off the main highway. The pool was closed...too bad. I hope it will be upgraded because it was once the best motel in Espanola. The staff was wonderful, cheerful and helpful. It was very clean which...

「The room was excellent, with a full kitchen, although no oven. About 15 minute walk the central plaza. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very quiet and comfortable. I only have one complaint, being forced to pay extra for internet. It’s been a long time since I had a hotel do this, even if only $15 for three days. Why not charge extra for sheets or towels? 」
