Winterlingen-Benzingen is a rural village on a plateau in the middle of the Swabian Southwest Alb, known for its "Zehn Tausender" (10 mountains over 1000 meters). The south-western Swabian Alb offers wonderful hiking trails and is also known for the premium and Albtrauf trails of the town of Albstadt, which is in the immediate vicinity of Benzingen. There are now eleven premium hiking trails with two winter trails and two "Traufgängerle" trails for families with children. These hiking trails have been certified as excellent by the German Hiking Institute.

The vacation apartment has been brought up to date and offers all the amenities for a restful and relaxing vacation. There is a large sunny roof terrace and balcony for cozy hours for two or with friends. Due to its central location, our place is also suitable for many interesting excursion destinations: Upper Danube Valley approx. 15 km, Lake Constance approx. 70 km depending on the destination, Hohenzollern Castle 35 km, Sigmaringen Castle 12 km, in winter there are several ski lifts in the immediate vicinity. For water lovers, the well-known "badkap" in Albstadt is the right address with all kinds of offers. In the main town of Winterlingen there is a beautiful natural outdoor pool and a newly renovated indoor pool. Information and suggestions can be obtained from your host. There is a bakery in the town where you can also buy small groceries. There is a very good restaurant for a cozy stop. For larger purchases there are many possibilities in the main town of Winterlingen, which is only 3 kilometers away, e.g. grocery stores, bakeries, butchers and also restaurants.
