Fantastic weekend away

We stayed here for the weekend to attend a wedding in the area. We were very impressed with the property and its charm. We would definitely stay again or recommend to others. Short walk or drive to town centre. Thank you for the personal touches, with the welcome sign and wine and chocolate.

Beautiful setting for a quiet getaway

The Lodge was the perfect place for a quiet stay. The house had everything we could need, and the property was lovely. Highly recommended.

The Lodge

Spent two nights here in late August. The Lodge is a lovely rustic cottage that we thoroughly enjoyed staying at. The fire was ready to light and a nice bottle of red and some chocolate greeted us on our arrival. Only 2 minutes from Wollombi and close to many wineries.

Quiet and relaxing slice of heaven

We cant say how great our stay was enough, The host went above and beyond what we were expecting and we couldn't have asked for anything else! Definitely recommend to anyone considering staying here and its only a short drive to shops and pokolbin

You have the convenience of the road to the village and wineries at the front of the property and the privacy of the countryside at the back. The cottage is well supplied with all the things you need for a comfortable stay

Great little getaway.

Beautiful quiet place, very peaceful and relaxing, the only thing i would suggest is the hot water could be hotter and some spare blankets. Other than that we loved it.

Cottage ticked all the boxes. Good log fire with plenty of wood,private setting, close to Wollombi cafe/pub, we walked, Comfy bed, lots of wildlife, never seen so much variety of birds in one property. Thoughtfull gift on arrival, thank you, Highly recommend :)

Charming and rustic

The lodge is a lovely renovated property located slightly over 1KM from Wollombi . We enjoyed the warmly decorated interior and the large outdoor area. the welcoming bottle of wine was a very nice surprise and we thoroughly enjoyed it . Thank you Richard

Mini break at The Lodge

Loved this rustic gem just a short walk from the quirky and historic town of Wollombi. Enjoyed exploring local history in the mini museum at the old courthouse in town, and breakfast on the sunny deck at Myrtle & Stone. The Lodge has everything you need plus beautifully tranquil sunny, gardens in which to unwind. Also enjoyed the complimentary chocolate and wine and a log fire on our first night there. Thank you Richard - we'll definitely be back!

Full of character and a great location

Ignore the rather shabby facade. Once you enter, it is full of character and has a welcoming, homely feel. We came for a wedding and found the location to be excellent. Very close to the hotel and cafes on one side and the wedding venue, Red Leaf, a few minutes from ve on the other. We wish we had booked for a longer stay and will return to si be more time at The Lodge and visit the wineries.
