The Robertson Hotel is a sanctuary where the raveled sleeve can be knitted up again :) Beautiful surrounds, friendly, attentive staff, lovely breakfast. My only worry is that its gentle, historical charm will be lost in future development. Sydney needs this kind of retreat from its mass tourism ...

The location was lovely and the facilities were mostly clean. We enjoyed our stay here. I agree with one of the reviews as the cleanliness of the place was not the best - but I think it is because it is a pet-friendly location. The dishwasher was unusable as there was mould inside which did not disappear ...
