We ended up staying in the washington hotel due to no heating, staff in the hotel were brilliant, room was very clean and a good size. Would definitely stay again

The staff was really polite and helpful. Special Tracey from reception. From the check in to check out was perfect. The room very clean. Lovely spa. Very healthy breakfast. Overall we had a very good time

We booked into the Sleepwell Inn for 4 nights via Expedia but when we arrived we found out that there were no rooms available. The staff at the Workington Hotel managed to find us a room for 1 night. We were very happily with the accommodation provided but later that night we had an issue with our door and couldn’t get into the room. After going backwards and forwards 4 times and the Manager Andy not being able to open the door either the staff had to break into the room. Obviously we couldn’t stay there as there was only half a door left. Now I do have to say that Andy and his staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Andy found us a room in the hotel which was absolutely lovely. After a good nights sleep breakfast was provided free of charge. So a massive shout out to Andy and his staff you were fantastic and we would come back again.

Noisy

Standalone hotel. Check-in down the road (not far). Most rooms on a busy road with a lot of traffic noise + could hear other roms through the wall. Not enough milk with no onsite reception to request more. Good size room and fairly comfotrable.

Didnt have my booking on the system, appeared to give me the reserve room that they use for last case scenarios. The stairwell ran diagonally above the bed so every time someone walked up the stairs it boomed through just above your head. Hidden charges for using the gym. Main reception in a different building. Free parking was the only decent part.

Not happy.

The reason for giving 3stars is because for an hotel with 4star you will not get what you expect. The room is very small, the light is very low level, the window is not opening so we couldn't have fresh air. The smell inside the room is awful. Is smell like some rodent died there. Over night you can here the pipe working from all rooms around. And the attitude of staff from restaurant was quite rude. Definitely I will not come back and recommend to anybody.

Sleepwell Inn Stay was Ohkay Ohkay

Sleepwell Inn is operated under Washington hotel but location wise it has been kept isolated n away from main building. Entrance and passage is closed and you can feel no fresh air with 0 ventilation. Windows are very small and curtains put on were like ages. Carpet in the room was felt like lost the life and Electric bulbs were fused out. I had only two ceiling short lights and two in washroom which was giving very less brightness. Washroom lock was broken so could use washroom when friends were about to visit the room. Television set is of almost no use as it very small in size and has very bad audio. Good thing about stay was only one thing and it was housekeeping. It was done every day and was done precisely.
