「the pub part of the experience was excellent ..nice pub good food freindly staff .. the hotel part was basic clean room but no plug in sink and no working extract fan to bathroom ... switch for extract fan out of reach for all but tall people 」

「The stay was ok. Little things made it disappointing, being told day before they had a no shoes policy in the hotel and could leave them at the entrance or carry to room. Mirror on wall was at a child’s height not a normal person. Coffee and tea making was on very low coffee table and needed to kneel down to make it. The place to leave clothes had coffee table in front of it so would not be ideal for long stays. As for building the 700 year old had plenty of character and was well presented.」

「Sorry, unable to review properly - I arrived at 7pm, jet lagged from an overnight flight from Canada. I had a nice meal with my brother and his wife and went to bed. I woke up at ten to eleven (check out is at eleven), threw on some clothes and left. Unable to comment on the hotel.」

「I stayed at the King Hotel for a couple of nights while my wife was at Benenden hospital for an operation. The hotel room was very clean and well appointed. Plenty of towels, shower gel, coffee & tea and biscuits for a two night stay. Really good shower in the en suite. Parking right by the room ( chalet type). Free wi fi as well. The Indian Restaurant ''The Raja of Kent'' is next door to the hotel and I went there for a meal on the first night. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the...

「Amazing Hotel. Friendly staff, lovely and clean, restaurant catered for all requirements. Breakfast delicious and so much choice. Beautiful outlook and easy to visit local areas such as Leeds Castle. Would definitely come back.」

「A lovely setting. We stayed in the Lodge which is set a little way from the Golf Clubhouse where Reception and the Restaurant are to be found. The room was comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Despite being very busy with a Club function taking place, the restaurant staff provided good service and excellent meals. 」

「Condition of my room was fair , wallpaper that looked like it had been painted over was peeling , Fan in room did not work and picture missing off wall but hooks left in it. Bathroom looked refurbished and nice, staff were nice. Unable to order room service as no one answered the phone , spa did not call me to make an apt. And I was unable to eat in the restaurant on both occasions I tried so I ate in the bar. 」

「Found the hotel overall pleasant , i stayed one night i didn't have a very good night sleep found the very hard pillow was very uncomfortable, there was two off us staying in the room there was only one bath towel we had to ask for another and one cup .
