The rooms are simply decorated, clean maybe slightly small but appreciate it is a very old building. The bed was very comfortable and room was nice and warm too. “We stayed in a twin room in the older part of the building....it was very disappointing! The mattress was the most uncomfortable that i have ever slept on, it must jave been the cheapest matress you could buy, all the springs had gone in it and lots of dips and hollows, i had to lay the bath towels on top of it to try and stop the springs from digging into me! The room was an awkward shape and a very poor layout. The furniture looked really tired and the wardrobe had a handle missing, there was……

“Newly renovated rooms to a high specification, staff were very helpful from the moment I walked in the door. Great food, luckily for me it was a Sunday evening I arrived and managed to get an amazing carvery. Will definitely stay here again. ”

“This is our second visit to the hotel. Last year we stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. This time, we stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage, it was stunning, especially the modern bathroom with lovely quality toiletries. Both the breakfast & dinner were delicious. We enjoyed being able to choose a cooked breakfast from their varied selection. Would highly recommend. ”

“The room was very clean and tidy. On the booking it didn't say there breakfast, but when I got into the room there was a lovely breakfast bag. The car park was small but was adequate. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Also the staff were very helpful ”
