“I stayed at the Secluded Cabin for a halfway stop on a trip back to Ohio from South Carolina. Real close to I-77, which is awesome. The cabin is fantastic. Once inside you wouldn't think you were in a cabin on top of a mountain basically. Little small touches of decor inside and outside with plantings made it all the better. They had everything I needed to cook and grill there, except the food of course. The property outside is well maintined. I saw deer and hummingbirds while sitting on the……

“RENTER BEWARE, 6 LARGE DOGS ACROSS THE STREET THAT BARK ALL NIGHT AND EARLY MORNING. Hostess Ashley was terrible, waited 6 hours for answer that we had on using the garage and then her response did not include how to access the garage. We had planned a 4 night stay and after the first night with no sleep because of the dogs across the street barking from midnight to 2 am and then again at 5 am, we decided to leave . Told Ashley the problem and again did not hear back for hours from her. Asked……

“The property was exactly what we were looking for… quiet, comfortable and relaxing.Independence is a short drive away for any necessities, but we came with almost everything for a couple of fine meals.The cookware could use a little refresh, i.e., a few more pots and pans, but it all worked out fine.We weren’t able to do any stargazing because of the cloud cover, but we plan to come back in the fall/winter when the conditions are likely to be more favorable.All in all a great escape from CLT.We……
