「We have never stayed at this State Park lodge before but we will go back. The architecture is similar to the other State Park lodges, the rustic nature wood and stone construction which is beautiful and amazing. The lodge may be a little dated but well maintained and the rooms have received some updates. The food at the lodge was fresh and hot and made to order. 「We were attracted to the idea of a real-life log cabin and wanted an authentic Appalachian experience. The cabin was hand-built by Bud and the interior is filled with family history. The horses next door and the chickens across the street added to the charm. Sonya and Bud were also lovely hosts. 」
