Lovely old guest house, situated just a stone’s throw from the city centre and run by the owners, a wonderfully friendly Yorkshire couple. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed, and the breakfasts were excellent. A charming place to stay, made all the more welcoming by the friendly hosts.

What a great place. The York City Guest house was central for the city centre, especially for the Minster. The couple who run it were amazing 😍 So friendly, it made you feel as though you'd stayed with friends. The rooms were all clean and spacious for our 3 night stay. The breakfast was really good with quite a selection. We definitely recommend the Guesthouse and will hopefully be back to stay in the near future.
