「We’re a family of 16: 8 adults and 8 children ages 3-13. This is our 3rd summer to rent a house together. Everyone said that the Hilltop Farmhouse is the best house we have ever rented. The pool was the highlight and it was so nice to swim without the bright sun. The kitchen is amazing with a commercial grade refrigerator and a regular refrigerator. 「This home is located in a nature lovers paradise. The house is very nice and the covered porch is great. There is a path down to the river. They have a beautiful large deck overlooking the water and a staircase leading into the river. And the woods surround everything. A true quiet getaway.Liz was so easy to work with and quickly got back to me with any questions I had. We enjoyed our stay!」

「The property was very big and spacious. We had a large group, yet everyone had more than enough room.Looking forward to renting this place again. 」

「What a fantastic place, the Kaplans are gracious and friendly. Never have I stayed in a place like this, so clean, tidy and everything is purpose built. Will be going back soon! Definitely a place that breaks away from the stale air of the motels and hotels. So happy I took the chance. 」

「It was a lovely home for a family get together. 」

「Such a pretty spot! It’s rustic enough to make it feel like a true get-away. We booked this when rain interfered with camping plans. There is much to do within driving distance including fishing and hiking. We brought our pups who enjoyed the deck and yard. There were two other structures right there, so if the owner happens to rent those out too (unknown to me), then you’ll have neighbors. 「This is a quaint house right on the river. The host is great and responds immediately. Unfortunately we had a storm that caused a power outage for 24 hours, but we made the best of it. We would definitely stay there again.」

「The perfect peaceful, private getaway while still being only 10-15 minutes outside of two towns with plenty of restaurants and activities for those who like to get out and about. It was clean and very comfortable. Everything is extremely well stocked; games, movies, kitchen items, the owners really went above and beyond! A great place to beat the heat and take a break. 」

「Our stay was great even though it rained 3 days we were there the house is very cozy and if you open up all the blinds it’s like you’re still sitting outside! If you have a dog this is a perfect place to set them up with a long lead and let them hang outside with you or walk the property with them which our dog never got old of! Definitely will be staying here again in the fall. 」
