"The staff at the hotel were wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay. I would especially like to recognize the Korean gentleman manager who assists with luggage — he was excellent and very attentive. During my first visit we had a few challenges due to my disability, but on this trip everything went smoothly and we were able to interact very well. "Wonderful Japanese style hotel located less than ten minutes walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station - Futaba also provides free transfer to/from the station. This hotel is ideal for skiers and snowboarders - Benri Ski Rental has a branch within the hotel and provides daily free transfers to/from the slopes within the Yuzawa region. Ski rentals and ski pass purchase can be conveniently billed to the room. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Our clean and well maintained Japanese style room overlooks the slope and is spacious enough for four adults even has its own outdoor onsen bath. The half board package is great value for money - the Kaiseki dinner has a different menu every night, while the breakfast spread offers variety and is sumptuous. Futaba’s onsen is another delight, there are two each on the sixth and seventh floors and are rotated daily so we get to experience all of them during our stay. Overall Futaba provides a five-star experience and is highly recommended especially for visitors on a skiing holiday. "
