“It’s an adorable house, furnished very tastefully obviously by a creative. Johnny is a photographer and his awesome photos of Joshua tree park landscape are strewn all over the house. The house was very clean with all the amenities that we a family of 3, would need. We used the kettle to make tea in the mornings. We stayed for 2 nights but did not get a chance to enjoy the beautiful backyard. It’s also conveniently located close to awesome breakfast and dinner restaurants and less than 15……

“Casa Mestiza had everything we needed — a well-equipped kitchen, two comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. We didn't use the cornhole, horsheshoes etc. out back, nor the patio table. But they looked nice. Communication with the host was easy and quick. She was very friendly. If I plan to return to the Yucca Valley one day, I'll book this home again as it's a known quantity and I was happy with it. Thank you.”

“This home is a perfect desert retreat! We booked it as the last leg of a 2 week journey and it was the best way to unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Very spacious, with comfortable beds, and the kitchen has all the amenities of home. Although the bed was super cozy and comfortable, I wish the other blankets and towels were more plush.
