The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!」

「My husband and I stayed here to kick off our anniversary road trip, and we were so happy we did! The cabins are clean, cute and cozy. You can hear the creek babbling from the cabins as you lay in bed. We really enjoyed our gifts that were left in the cabin and also the amenities they had available in the common area. I would love to stay again!」

「The accommodations were nice, place has a beautiful view of the river; only downside is we lost power a number of times. It was only for a few minutes at a time and multiple days, but it was annoying.」

「The rooms are suites with eating area, wet bar, couch, fireplace and porch looking out on nature. Only 10 rooms in the lodge. There are many walking trails and you can circle the whole lake in less than 1.5 miles. Wonderful food and there is a small snack shop. Bring your own wine for dinner. Very very nice secluded spot. 」

「Great location close to gas station, jerky store and fishing spots. Nice quiet neighborhood. Lot of nearby options for things to do. Enjoyed a 2 night fishing trip. Very nice cabin. Love the back porch/fire pit setup. We ended up grilling dinner every night. We were even able to watch the Michigan game at the cabin. The crystal clear night sky made for an amazing view of the stars that you can't see in the city. Awesome place, we definitely plan on coming back. Thank you!」

「Easy to find and check in. Had everything we needed to have a cozy Spring weekend. Just the right amount of space. No traffic on the short road and easy access to the river, Hodenpyl Dam, and lots of National Forest trails. Short jump to Mesick for groceries and gas was very convenient. 「When I pulled up and saw the signs ( not that I’m political) on the property I started to cancel, but when I went in the lady (Pat) was very pleasant and friendly. I end up staying and I must say that my stay was wonderful and very relaxing. I loved that the cabin was very clean and equipped with everything I needed. I’m planning on going back real soon.」
