"We booked this last minute but it was the less busy season so they were still able to give us a room with a view of the Matterhorn. The staff was exceptional and were running the entire place, even serving beers. Breakfast was OK but it was included so that is great. Location is a little down the path from town so plan for a hike or get a taxi."

"This is, basically, a backpacker's hostel or ski hostel. We had a room that slept four; it was clean, the beds were comfortable; there was a small terrace on which to sit. The first day we had breakfast in Hotel Simi, but the remaining two days was in the hotel. It was an alright breakfast. Hotel Simi had scrambled eggs and sausage; our hotel did not. The location was good - away from the main street, so it was quiet. It was a tad expensive for what we got for three nights, but it was probably the cheapest. Zermatt is very, very expensive."

"Our room was very clean and comfortably large. The location was outstanding, being conveniently close to the train station and Main Street with it being load or overly touristy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a great start to each day! We were visiting during the epic European heat wave and while the hotel did not have air conditioning the doors to the balconies were convenient and easy to keep open to create a draft. Thick curtains kept the sun out during the day to keep the room from warming too much. This was our favorite hotel from our Switzerland trip visiting 4 different hotels."
