"This is without a doubt one of the best hotels I've stayed in in Taiwan! The receptionist gave us a warm welcome and an early check-in (since there were no guests from the night before). "No one at reception and sign asks customers to call for staff to arrive for check-in. However, for anyone who has only data but unable to make local phone calls. It’s very inconvenient. "Not a super central location, but still at decent walking distance from town, the ferry terminal and the two northern beaches that are great for snorkeling. The place is super clean and decently quiet. Otherwise it is pretty basic with few services and no food offered. The hostess does not speak a word of English, but a translation tool does help"

"The homestay is located close to a few eateries such as Li Xiao Long selling Chinese food and a Japanese mini restaurant. It’s about 6 minutes ride on the e-bike from the harbour where passengers alight from the ferry. If you arrive before check-in time 3 pm, you may leave your luggage at the lobby where there’s a surveillance camera. The homestay staff was kind to let us check in slightly earlier before 3. "
