Our room was comfortable and the owner and employees’ attention to details made it special, like a terrarium in the bathroom, good breakfast included, limited parking in their lot, and a large selection of tv channels. "The hotel was nice and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. There is no air-conditioning and the weather was hot, so the room was uncomfortable. The second day we asked forva fan, and they brought us a small one that was partially broken, butbit did help. The location was fine, on a main square, close to the restaurants, but a 8-10 minute walk to the teain station, our primary transportation. They had a wonderful breakfast available, and the restaurant was quite good for dinner as well."

"Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Appenzell. Close to the historic town as well as grocery stores. A little difficulty finding the parking entrance, but the property manager was very helpful. We'd definitely recommend this comfortable home away from home."
