“The rooms are central, so that is a plus, but apart from that I found the rooms overpriced for what you got, self service checkin, no staff, and the one person I spoke to on the phone was actually rude. Rooms are not cleaned at all during a multi day stay, Parking is not easy as the car park next door fills up quickly, not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues. Would I stay their again, no!”

“Location is great. Hote Is basic as reflected in price as well as reviews. Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive. Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly.”

“Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor……

“The family room was good and comfortable with such reasonable price. it was feeling free to stay here as most of the thing were self served, such as breskfast and using the kitchen to cook! The city was beautiful and we enjoy stay here very much.”

The location was ideal, peaceful, easy to get around, and perfectly placed for exploring the town and surrounding countryside. The views were stunning, making mornings and evenings especially relaxing. The bungalow itself was spotless and very well kept, which made the stay feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. “I'm afraid that we're extremely disappointed with the state if this property. It smells of damp and water ingress everywhere, with stains and skirting hanging off, there's an overpowering smell and generally uncleandownstairs bedroom. I'm not sure how you can charge for this. ”
