Don’t let Google Maps fool you, there is plenty to eat and drink thats a close bike ride. They rent motorbikes and have free bicycles too. Best of all, they are pet friendly, and so welcoming to my little guy. They have dogs on the property who are well behaved. Thanks for much for a great stay! - Chrissie and Wasabi"

"We spent 3 nights at the lakehouse and it was a lovely property. The staff went out of their way to help us when our tour (the reason we travelled to Phong Nha) was cancelled at the last minute. They secured a new kayaking tour for us and it was spectacular. Pros: * The villa was beautiful! It had a private outdoor shower and bath. The air conditioning worked perfectly and it had a balcony overlooking the lake. * The staff were friendly, and extremely helpful. * the pools were cool and refreshing Cons: * the included breakfast was not great. It did not have very much selection and was cold. * the restaurant in general was way too overpriced and the food was not good at all. We ate elsewhere after the first night. * there is a charge for using the resort kayaks, bikes, etc Overall, we enjoyed our stay :)"

"Minimal bugs and creatures in the room when it's right next to the field. Great job cleaning and tidying up. We stayed during the field clearing season so the burning/smoke kept us indoor for an hour at sunset until the smoke clear. After that, no problem. We used the pool after the smoke is gone. Food was decent, staff were very nice and helpful."
