“Karpaha Sands is easily one of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed at. The personalisation here is unlike anything we’ve experienced elsewhere — from our incredible butler Namal (attentive, intuitive, always there when needed) to the cell phones provided to reach him at any time, to an anniversary cake, to arranging dinner at our room the last night. Manager Omberto and the entire team were genuinely warm & friendly throughout our stay. The food is phenomenal! Were talking 5* quality across……

“Warm, friendly staff - this hotel had a beautifully designed main building where we enjoyed al fresco eating from the varied and superbly cooked/arranged buffet. After dinner we enjoyed the ping pong and pool table which helped entertain our family. The swimming pool was sublime. The gardens, pathways and trees leading down to the beach were well kept and helped support a relaxing atmosphere. The bedrooms had everything we needed as well as incredibly comfortable beds - quiet, with the added……

“Food served with tons of flies. No basic laundry service. Iron and iron board in a horrible state. Old food left in fridges and rotting on the first day I checked in. Dirty bedding. Very disappointing. Floor staff were literally scared of us asking for anything because of the state of facilities. ”

“Property is beautiful and staff is amazing. Issue is our AC in the room broke down during the night and It didn’t come til next day 10am and it was 34 Celsius or 94 Fahrenheit . ”

“We enjoyed our stay at Kay Jay Palms. The rooms were spacious and very clean. A/C and fan combo kept the rooms cool in the day and night. We had breakfast and dinners there. The portion sizes were much more than we could finish. It is 5 min drive from Pasikuda beach which was very convenient for beach days in the morning and the ability to change before other activities in the afternoon. Overall a great experience. ”

“Sunaqua is located at the wrong end of Pasikudah beach. The beach in front of the hotel is too shallow and rocky for swimming. you can walk to the public beach to swimming however the public beach is busy during weekend. Other than that, the hotel itself is pretty good. It even provides ladies sanitary items which comes very handy and this shows hotel's attention to detail. ”

“"Sea view" heisst hier direkt am unverbauten Strand sein Zimmer zu bekommen (mit aufmerksamer Bewachung) - wunderbar. Der Pool ist sehr gross und für Streckenschwimmen geeignet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und professionell. Der Manager ist überall sichtbar und führt sein Resort ausgezeichnet. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt!”
