"The outside was beautiful and had wonderful views of the Ocean. We arrived at 2:15 and didn't realize the reservation was under my spouse so the staff member seemed bothered by this because she was delayed a couple of minutes looking for the reservation. Then when she found it she said "You booked it thru a 3rd party and the room is not ready. So we sat in the car outside actually facing the room and there was no movement of anyone cleaning it. So at 3 p.m I went to the same lady and she gave me the key. Apparently because it was booked from a 3rd party they made us wait even if the room was ready."

"We appreciated that the property was pet friendly! Being on the sea-side of the highway was also very convenient to watch the sunset. The staff were accommodating with early check in. There are no “ocean-facing” rooms with Sands by the Sea however. There wasn’t an obvious safe in the room. Attempted to get WiFi to work, but was unsuccessful."

"We’ve stayed here several times in the past. Good location. No daily maid service and you have to give 24 hours notice if you want it but you can ask at front desk for coffee or towels if needed. The drain in the sink has a rotten egg (slider) odor and I’ve noticed it in past visits. However, it is a good location and anemities are good for the price. Moonstone beach boardwalk and access right across the street."
