“The check IN took a little longer than expected, had to ring a door bell at the front desk, a sign stated that they stepped away to assist another department. Took about 10 minutes before they reappeared. Once they got started the check-in process went well. on the way to the elevator, a family just got out of the pool, the hallway and elevator was full of water. No wet floor signs to be found. The room was clean. The bed was excellent. Good shower as well. The breakfast was hot but limited.……

“It's a newer Tru and very nice property. Right beside Topsail Hill and there's a Donut Hole right down the sidewalk. You can tell the staff really cares and takes a lot of pride in the property. The Wednesday night reception was something I'd never experienced before at a smaller hotel. The king rooms are great for two people. If you have more than two, then you'll need a larger room.”

“The manager and the girl who checked us in they’re very polite and nice, the next day was a girl she had like a pink hair. I asked her for a hand soap and she said it’s not mandatory to have a hand soap in the bathrooms. 🤔🤔 and not only that the shower curtains had mold. They never been changed , and I feel even the sheets were never changed and good thing. I have my own sheets and blankets and cleaning products , and going back to the soap That was kind of odd and weird cause every hotel have……

“Check in wss easy just had a hard time finding the building in the evening so dark. Staff was excellent room is clean and large room overlooking the pool and the beach I was pleasantly surprised.”

“The resort charged an additional fee to check in early (12:00). They also charged me an additional fee for my daughter. They only give you the number of towels to match your party. They also mentioned charging me for a towel due to makeup residue. I feel they definitely try to add any additional charge possible to your stay once you arrive.”

“I booked here because there were several reviews on how clean this location was. I loved the size of the suite but there were a few issues. I can say that the staff was really nice but maybe not enough of them to really keep the property super clean. The breakfast buffet was nice but difficult for staff to maintain cleanliness of the buffet, tables, and trash while people were eating. Also lots of popcorn in the hallways and a very noisy ac unit in our suite. It was difficult to sleep. Again,……

“We stayed there for Fourth of July weekend, staff was friendly and very helpful, hotel and room were super clean, the pool are was also neat, we enjoyed our stay it was very relaxing.”

“When we arrived, the two queen bedroom with a Gulf view that we had booked was not available. They put us in a King room for one night promising that the next day we would have the queen room. The next day there’s still no queen room and they acted as if the fact that they had accommodated us with a king bed was acceptable. We finally agreed to stay in the King bed at a discount. When it was time to check out, the charges were all messed up and we had to argue about what we were supposed to be……
