“A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. Would highly reccomend a visit to Parkes Castle followed by a boat ride on Lough Gill stopping at Dooley Park https://roseofinnisfree.com/ . “Bit of a trek from car park to the rooms, even using the lift need to carry luggage or groceries up stairs. Room doors are very heavy and 7 year old couldn't open them himself. Otherwise accommodation was comfortable and clean, with spectacular views.”

“Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.”

“I booked and prepaid for a double room with en-suite. Upon arrival, when they saw I was alone, I was moved to a single room with restroom down the hall and downstairs. I am a 65 y/o woman, traveling alone. I need a bathroom at night. None of the sinks worked, except for the one downstairs powderoom. If I needed water for the kettle or wash my hands after toilet-down the stairs I went. This is not a lodge, it is someone’s home. I was very uncomfortable. WiFi worked as did the TV. No……

“Nice fresh room with good size comfortable bed but very small shower room. The facilities are good and there is a car park at extra charge. Very central for Sligo. We did eat in the restaurant but did have a drink in the bar ( barman could have a little training in customer service nothing bad but a little blunt). I would recommend and will stay again. ”

“I found this property to be very conveniently located. And all of the staff are exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. The one thing I would say is to be aware that electricity and power at this location are not as updated as other hotels on the east side of Ireland and to be prepared and feel comfortable to ask questions as I did. From check-in to check out every question I had was answered far beyond what I needed to know and I greatly appreciated all the help.”
