“The new Lac Magantic Microtel was the perfect accommodation for our weekend trip. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, polite and answered our questions. Breakfast was self serve and just enough to start the day off. The coffee was delicious! We would definitely recommend the Lac Megantic Microtel for a short or longer stay as the room allowed for cooking and dining if desired.”

“Such personalized service! Before I checked in, they texted to see what temp we would like the room at, what kind of music we liked and if we were celebrating anything special. (We were going for my husband's birthday.) Upon arriving, they had balloons on the bed and a gift for my husband. The room was perfect, with special touches throughout. A continental breakfast was included. We were able to enjoy a hot tub (to ourselves) each night. Staff were wonderful! Just a perfect stay!”

“My stay at the Beatnik Hotel was even more than I'd hoped for! The incredible scenery, the relaxed, rustic feel of the place and the surroundings, and proximity to sites we wanted to see, were outstanding! The breakfast was great, and a 'help yourself' attitude is one I appreciate. Overall, there is an eco consciousness at the Beatnik Hotel, that I feel is the way forward in hospitality services. “I arrived late on a solo road trip but was able to communicate with the staff to obtain the access code. Everything was great during my quick stay. Lots of communal space on the first floor to enjoy a snack or a meal and to just sit and socialize. So glad they have coffee available in the morning. I stayed in the dorm and was very pleased. Only thing was, and at no fault of the auberge, is that the town wakes up early and if your window faces the street, you will hear the early morning hustle……
