“Decent property but very noisy. All guests can be heard between rooms. Only cereal and some yogurt for breakfast. Restaurants there don’t open until 10 am so more choices at the hotel would be good. ”

“The location is very good, very east to find, it is a very peaceful area, it also has the sea view from my room, parking can park next to the supermarket. However the room is very small, but it should be very small in the overall highland area, just depends how much you pay. Thanks!”

“I've stayed in many B&Bs in my life, and I can confidently say this is one of the best experiences I've had. The place is perfect, spotlessly clean, the hostess welcomed us with charm (and gave excellent advice), and the breakfast was delicious. Every detail is carefully thought out, right down to the binoculars available at the entrance. Too bad I have to cross the ocean to come back!”

“My friend and I stayed at Loch Maree Hotel for a night before we went over to the Isle of Skye and our experience was amazing! Duncan was so sweet and funny and made the stay memorable. The views of the lake are beautiful and everyone else staying at the hotel were friendly and loved to chat. The food was delicious, we had dinner and breakfast - both great. I wish we could have stayed longer! Next time I'll have to bring a boat that's not filled with water to explore the lake. ”

“Great location right in Portree. Good food in the restaurant and there are many other restaurants within walking distance. Our room was right at the front of the hotel and there was some noise in the square but it did not bother us and I am a very light sleeper. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. Travelled with family. Room accommodated 3 adults with room to spare. ”
